Despite opening pre-registrations and holding closed beta with selected users, otome mobile game Akaseka formerly Singing in a Twilight World with You has now been put on indefinite hold. According to the game’s official Facebook and Twitter announcement, Akaseka has been put on hold due to unforeseen circumstances. The international English version of the game is localised by Digisky and was set to release in 2020.
Developed by GCREST, Akaseka is a title-matching otome game with RPG elements set in a fantasy world called Hinomoto. The game boasts of having voice actors such as Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Hiroki Takahashi, Kohsuke Toriumi and KENN.
While we may not see an English release anytime soon, players can still stand a chance win commemorative gifts in Akaseka’s Hinomoto Popularity Contest. From 22 June to 29 June 2020, vote for your favourite otoko and Inaba might present you a nice surprise!
